SACHHAR COMMITTEE REPORT, ON THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL CONDITIONS OF MUSLIMS IN THE COUNTRY:
The Sachhar Committee Report has not done justice to the phenomenon and manifests subjectivity and irrationality in its approach and recommendations.
The Constitution of India, as adopted since its threshold, year 1950, has provided equal opportunities to all, irrespective of their cast, creed and gender.
Lord Wavel, the then Viceroy of India, in October 1945, from his Simla seat announced the intent of the British Government that decided to free India, and called the then Indian leaders to meet me, to decide about the respective modalities.
The majority of the Indian leaders demanded partition of India, Pakistan for Muslims and Hindustan for the rest of population.
Lord Wavel got the election for 245 assembly ( the then Parliament) seats conducted in December 1945. The Congress gained 238 seats, Muslim League 1, Hindu Mahasabha 1, and rest were won by the then Rulers of Indian States.
The Congress elected Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru as its Parliamentary leader and was handed over the Governance of the Interim Government of the United India on 07-09-1946.
On 5th December 1946, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru included five Muslim League leaders in his Cabinet to appease Muslims Leaders who propagated the interim Government as the Hindu (Non secular) Rule.
The partition of India into Pakistan and India was agreed, and it was decided that transfer of population of Hindus to India and Muslims to Pakistan would be completed in due course.
However, Lord Wavel prevailed to get the civil and other Government servants transferred to their respective parts during January 1946 to June 1947,leaving the issue of rest of population transfer to the respective Rulers of Pakistan and divided India.
The Muslim population formed merely 14% of the total population , but could secure the 1/4th of the territory of the united India. The same was agreed to by the Indian ( read Hindu/Congress ) leaders on the assurance of Pakistan leaders that the Hindu population inhabiting the area under Pakistan would be allow to remain there.
Most of the Muslims particularly form Punjab, Delhi, Bihar and Bengal migrated to Pakistan while Muslims residing in other states of India preferred to stay back.
In December 1948, Nehru-Liaquat pact was made (The then Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan respectively). to stop the further transfer of population, as it was assessed that the respective countries had approximately six percent of heterogenous population ( i.e., Hindus in Pakistan and Muslims in India).
At present , the Pakistan population consists of 1.5 % Hindus (against 6% in 1948) while in India the Muslim population has grown to alarming 14% (from the level of 6% in 1948) .It is pertinent to note that empirical studies have shown the consistent negative growth of Hindus in Pakistan is due to the mass/ forced conversions, butchering of the Hindus and creating the un bearing conditions for Hindus forcing their mass exodus to India.
The scenario in India is in sharp contrast. The Government in India has consistently nurtured the true spirit of secularism, providing most congenial conditions for Muslims, equal opportunities in all spheres. The backwardness in some Muslim pockets have been caused by the over dominance of fanatic Muslim Leadership - political , social and religious which had a vested interest in connivance with pseudo- secularists to enrich themselves at the cost of the community by keeping them under suspect ion and nurturing hatred in their mind towards other communities, preventing them to join the national mainstream.
The Muslims are having vast support and resources at their command. Huge funds have penetrated in the Country from the most affluent Muslim Nations of the Gulf and South Asian countries. They have been offered and gainfully employed exclusively by these communal nations , since only Muslims are preferred or given exclusive access.
One could witness a huge stream of educated Muslims occupying the most prestigious positions in the Civic and Other enterprises at all levels of hierarchy. It is that clan which didn't occupied the fanatic and communal space but joined the national mainstream. The Community has adored the offices of President , Vice presidents, the Chief Justice, and so on. At the professional front you could find a vast number of advocates, engineers, architects, doctors, Chartered accountants, film artists and the like from the community who have earned a great name and fame for the Country, community and themselves individually. The Nation is proud of them.
This is in sharpest contrast to the happenings in Pakistan and have become possible for the bare reason that Constitutional spirit of equality have been adhered to in letters and utmost spirit.
As per our prime minister's recent suggestion, after receiving Sachhar Committee report that all government vacant posts in future be first fulfilled by Muslim candidates, in order to complete their 4.5% quota in government service is devoid of rationality, since most of the educated Muslims have the tendency to migrate /opt for lucrative employments in affluent Muslim nations.
The above facts envisages that the Government in its Sponsoring of Sachhar Committee was having a biased and pre conceived notion of pursuing a policy of appeasement towards Muslim, at the cost of poor Hindus who would continue to suffer in their own native land, what to talk of the aliens.
The decision of the Government is bound to crate a social disorder, perpetuate a communal hatred, and a tax on abilities, intelligence , hardworking, needy and deservings and promote an have -not class , and is derogatory to the Letters and Spirit of the Constitution of India and its guiding principles.
Whaaat ....a.....Sshhhh.....aaaaaaaaaaammmmme ! the Congress ( Secularist....???????) in its vision ( myopic.......!) could not adhere to any of the guiding principles of the Sacred Constitution ( in its 50 years of Rule.... sorry... Misrule.....! , but have done everything to make the same die. ( KHUDAA KHAAIRR KARRE....!)
